One Moore Book is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that encourages reading among children of countries with low literacy rates and underrepresented cultures by publishing culturally relevant books that speak to their truths, and by creating bookstores and reading corners that serve their communities.

One Moore Book is a featured program with the Center for Education Innovations. The Center for Education Innovations promotes programs, policies, and practices that increase access to quality, affordable, and equitable education for the world’s poor. 
One Moore Book is a member of the Children’s Book Council, a nonprofit trade association of North American children’s book publishers dedicated to supporting and informing the industry.

We are happy to partner with University of Liberia for an annual work-study scholarship for select students.  Through the scholarship, One Moore Book funds on-campus student housing in exchange for employment at our store.
